Experience

Jody has more than 36 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as a property manager, overseeing office, retail and industrial properties for private, governmental and institutional owners in Oregon and SW Washington. Additionally, she has incorporated her experience in construction project management into her property management work for the past 24 years. She has worked for such prestigious clients as Asana Partners, Goldman Sachs, Clarion Partners, Portland Development Commission, CBRE Investors, Lincoln Asset Group, and MEPT Kennedy Associates.

Her experience includes all aspects of building management and leasing, tenant relations, construction management, and property accounting. She spent several years managing the Tenant Improvement Construction for her clients, but truly cut her teeth in construction overseeing tenant improvements at Lincoln Center and then for Trammell Crow Company in Portland.

Jody has joined Doug Bean & Associates as Vice President of Asset & Corporate Real Estate Services overseeing the property management division and managing a portfolio of her own.

Background
Jody has a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University and has been a licensed   Real Estate Broker in Oregon since 1994. She is an active member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) since 1998.

Personal
Jody is a third-generation native Portlander. She is the mother of two great kids and Grammie to two beautiful grandchildren.  A singer-dancer-actress from an early age, she has been involved in Musical Theater in many local theater companies and has been directing theater for Beaverton Foursquare Church for the past 22 years. Except for her grandbabies, coaching young performers is her greatest joy. Often you will catch her singing as she works.
